Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Graduate CRM Administrator to join our Marketing and Communications team.


The purpose of this newly created position is to champion the firm's client relationship management programme which includes the implementation of a new CRM system and key client programme. This role will also support in helping identify and progress opportunities for business growth, working alongside colleagues from all around the business.
The post reports to the Director of Communications and Development, has close liaison with the Marketing Executive and involves active liaison and collaboration with Client Directors and wider client facing management teams.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • CRM system oversight – becoming the core system user and adviser
  • Advocate for the adoption of the CRM system across the business, including training new users
  • Create, analyse and interpret reports that assess the firm's business relationships as well as helping establishing working practices that help to ensure the data integrity
  • Identifying and coordinating opportunities for BDO to increase its exposure to targeted industry sectors
  • Coordinating the firm-wide client satisfaction feedback programme
  • Support in organising business development events, e.g. industry sponsorships and small-scale client networking
    activities and involvement in representing BDO
  • Pitch and proposal support to client facing teams, including document content, design and support
  • Market research and analysis as required e.g. to support client pitch processes
  • Co-ordinate new business development target activity among sector group teams and streams

Person Specification

No CRM or business development experience is required although an awareness of business development processes would be beneficial. The role will first and foremost require a self-motivated person who is interested in sales and marketing, who is comfortable with analysing data and who can demonstrate strong attention to detail. The candidate should be comfortable working independently on their own initiative and alongside colleagues as well. Experience of working in a professional services context is helpful but not essential.
