Presentation overview

This topic will be presented by James Kelsch, Resolution IT and will be focused around how the GFSC cyber rules affect NEDs, with an emphasis on the practical guidance for securing corporate data on personal devices. The presentation will also touch on who is responsible for an organisation’s Information Security, what NED’s should know, whether the Board are asking the right questions, and whether an organisation has the right people and structures in place to aid decision making in terms of security. Lastly, James will speak about why information and cyber security is the responsibility of the board, not just the IT department. Other topics of interest include cyber hygiene, data privacy, social engineering, passwords, and authentication.
