10 Appointments at BDO Guernsey

BDO Guernsey has appointed 10 new employees across its tax and audit teams, drawing on expertise from around the world to meet the needs of its Guernsey client base.

Two new managers have joined the firm, Abby Sarre has been appointed as Tax Manager and Edoabasi Nkanga is an Audit Manager.

Abby has seven years’ experience in tax and has worked in London and Guernsey, she specialises in providing advice on complex tax issues and tax planning, as well as succession planning and corporation tax.

Edoabasi has more than 10 years of combined experience across the accountancy, finance, audit and advisory fields. He has led and managed external audits for organisations in banking, life and general insurance, pension funds, private equity funds, debt funds and collective investment schemes.

Also in the audit team, Gamuchirai Mafundikwa has been appointed as Audit Supervisor;            Martin Khendi,   Tenu Nkansa, Maggie Mwewa, Doreen Adeke, Emmanuel Mwawa and Chandni Sharma have all joined as Audit Seniors; and Wongani Masasula is BDO Guernsey’s latest Audit Trainee.

Edoabasi welcomed the chance to join BDO’s Guernsey team and contribute to its development: “I am passionate about my profession and about helping clients navigate the complexities of audit,” he said. “BDO gives me the opportunity to work with a range of clients in a job I care about, while also having a life outside of work and making the most of Guernsey. I’m excited to develop skills in my team as that’s the most satisfying aspect of my job.”

BDO’s new appointments join the firm with experience working in Guernsey, the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Ghana, Malawi, India and Zambia, contributing to the international expertise in the organisation.
